I had mad errors in stats wouldnt even log in
I had to go into alot of the files and change where
if (!$_COOKIE["auth"] == "1") and change it to 0's and then login in anyname any password then go into
admin on stats page create new user login and then close it then go back into  adminlogin adminlogin2 set it back to this
if (!$_COOKIE["auth"] == "1")

then I was able to use username n password

We are having all sorts of problems with stats. So much so that we turned them off.

As most of you know we run 3 servers, they are on their own machines, lowest spec is 4 gig ram and dual Xeon cpu's 2.4ghz. Servers run fine. If we run MYSQL on the servers after a while the servers start to become bogged down and laggy.

We have tried sending the data to a remote server to ofload the work the game server is doing but for whatever reason the connection to the remote server drops out and then we have no stats. In all cases we use a remote webserver.

Our servers are usually very busy with ofen over 30 players on them at a time.

Back in the days of FBD2 we sent data from each server accross the internet to a databse server and this worked with no problems for years with no dropped connections. The remote server we use now is actually in the same rack as the game servers so not sure what is going wrong.

Would it be possible to have light weight stats perhaps?

Is anyone else having probelms like this?

Sending stats to a server dedicated to hosting them is a better way to go, if you have that luxuary. The problem of dropped connections might be an issue if FBDj does not handle that properly. I coded to take this possibility into account with FBD2, which is probably why it didn't happen using it. However, there are some things you might be able to tweak in the MySQL config, such as connection timeout settings, to correct this problem.

Illlook into it sammie, thanks.

Like I said FBD2 worked much better in the stats department. I just I some programming skills to help fix things but I'm getting too old for learning!

Still had no luck with stats TBH, our Linux webserver is very slow at displaying them, I wonder if everyone else is using a windows webserver which is why theirs are faster, or our databse is just too big Smiley
